Blueberry Cream Wine Slush
When blueberry meets vanilla ice cream, it’s good. When blueberry meets vanilla ice cream and crisp white wine, it’s even better. Spoil yourself with this fun blueberry cream wine slush in the holiday or anytime you like because it takes pretty much no time to make.
You know how much I love wine. And I don’t need to tell you that I love ice cream too because who doesn’t?
You put wine and ice cream together, then add blueberries… Are you imagining what I am saying here? I am talking about a way to spoil yourself during this holiday season, or any day. Really.
All you need to do is to dump frozen blueberries, vanilla ice cream and crisp white wine with a few ice cubes in a blender. Turn it on for 30-45 seconds.
It’s like drinking a blueberry smoothie or a blueberry shake. But it’s definitely an adult version. With the wine perfectly blended in the drink, it totally hits the spot!
If you like it creamier, add more ice cream. Have a sweet tooth? Add some sweetener like simple syrup or light agave nectar. I found that a splash of lemon juice makes this wine slush extra refreshing.
I think I know what drink to make for Christmas now. How about you? If you like blueberry, you can find more blueberry adult drinks here for inspiration.
Since I’ve got a big bag of frozen blueberries and a whole box of white wine (I drink and cook with wine very often) stocked up in my kitchen, plus a quart of vanilla ice cream in the freezer, I plan to be sipping this blueberry cream wine slush through the season. What about you? Got any drink recipes that you particularly like? Leave a comment below. I would love to know. Happy holidays!
