Description
These avocado toasts are great sandwiches that are easy and quick to make in the morning!
Ingredients
- 4 slices good, solid and crusty bread
- 2 ripe avocados
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- Freshly grounded salt and pepper to taste
- A dash of garlic powder
- 8 slices bacon, cut in half
- Maple syrup
Instructions
- Peel and corn avocados and mash them roughly with a fork. Add the lemon juice and season with salt, pepper and garlic powder to taste.
- Cook bacon until it is crisp and drain it on paper towels.
- Toast the bread, divide and spread the avocado mixture between the slices; top with the bacon slices and then drizzle with maple syrup. Serve immediately.
