Description

Sous vide chicken breast meal prep once and make at least five unique, healthy, and delicious chicken meals in under 15 minutes each. 


Ingredients

Scale

  • 10 boneless and skinless chicken breasts, about 4 pounds
  • Olive oil

  • Fresh herbs such as rosemary, thyme, and basil

For Paprika Chicken:

  • Salt
  • Freshly ground black pepper

  • Smoked paprika

For BBQ Chicken:

  • Salt

  • BBQ seasoning

  • 1 teaspoon liquid smoke

For Cajun Chicken:

  • Salt
  • Cajun seasoning

For Curry Turmeric Chicken:

  • Salt
  • Curry powder

  • Ground turmeric

For Mushroom Basil Chicken:

  • Salt
  • Mushroom powder
  • Dried basil


Instructions

  1. Preheat water to 140°F (60°C) using a sous vide machine.
  2. Season each chicken breast with your preferred seasoning combination.
  3. Prepare multiple sous vide bags and put the chicken breasts with the same flavor in one bag or pack individually.
  4. Add some olive oil in each bag along with fresh herbs of choice. Vacuum-seal the bags.
  5. Submerge the chicken breasts in the preheated water bath and set the timer for 2 hours.
  6. Once cooked, transfer the chicken breasts to an ice-water bath to chill rapidly. Label with flavors and refrigerate for up to 7 days or freeze.
